Morocco Day Trip From Marrakech To Casablanca.

Planning on a one-day trip? A trip to Casablanca may be an ideal tour for you especially when you are a first timer here in Morocco.

It is the largest port and city in the whole of Morocco and the favorite destination for travelers and is more popularly known as Casa. When it comes to Morocco Travel, Casablanca is without a doubt the most famous name. It is said to be the heart of the business in Morocco that is why it is considered as Morocco’s economic capital.

Leading companies from Morocco and international ones are based in this city. The Royal Moroccan Navy’s naval base is also located here. Historically, this is the foremost industrial zone of this country and until now this historic position is still maintained.

  • Casablanca Day Trip

    Day Trip From Marrakech To Casablanca.

    You can start your day with having some baguettes and coffee at Parc de La Ligue Arabe. There are plenty of cafes that you can choose from this garden. You will definitely enjoy the view in there for its avenues are lined with Ficus, pergolas, flower beds, arcades and palm trees that are really tall.

    The travel will go to the north direction. The road to take would be old medina. You will be moving through the focal points of the new town in Casa called Ville Novelle. These focal points are Place Des Nations Uniones and Place Mohammed V. In Place Mohammed V you will see architectures of the French where Moorish design is complementing it beautifully. In Place dews Uniones, you can enjoy monumental fountain that pays Music.

    The next spot would be Art Deco Hotels. There are the popular famous clock towers, the apartment block of the Eleven Story of Moretti, the high rise art deco buildings and Art deco Hotels.

    You will then visit the residential blocks that are famous in this city: Asayag, Bessonneau and Glaoui. You can also go to Avenue de Forces Royal. This is a commercial area that will lead you to the old medina. You will see there the artisans, jewellers and barbers. You will then visit a shrine nearby where the tomb of Sidi Allal el-Kairounuant is contained.

    You will then have lunch in Corniche then visit Mosque of Hassan II. This building belongs in the largest religious buildings in the whole world at second place. During Fridays, this building opens for the non-Muslims.

    After the Mosque Tour, you can now proceed to the new town. You can shop there for an hour.

    You will end your day and your tour as well in The Parc de la Ligue Arabe. This is the largest public park in the city which was formerly known as Lyautev. The Cathedral du Sacre Coeur is situated on the edge of this place. This may be not be in used as of today but it is still a splendid view defecting Mauresque architecture. This will mark the end of your Casablanca travel tour.
