4 Days Tour From Marrakech To Merzouga

This tour is perfect for people wanting to see the best of Morocco under a tight schedule. Highlights include visiting the famous Ait Bennhadou Kasbah, The spectacular Draa Valley, sleeping under the stars in the Sahara, and wandering the amazing Todra Valley.

Day 1: Marrakech – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate

Your journey begins with a pick-up from Marrakech at 8 am, followed by a 2-hour drive through the stunning Tizi N Tichka Pass, including stops for photos and a visit to Telouet and its ancient 17th-century Kasbah. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a serene oasis accompanied by a captivating Berber Folklore Show. From there, it’s an hour and a half drive to the iconic Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, an 11th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll also explore the Atlas Studio. The day concludes with an overnight stay at a hotel in Ouarzazate.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Draa valley – Alnif – Merzouga ( Erg Chebbi )

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart at 9:00am for a 2 hours drive along the magical Drâa River, one of the longest rivers in Morocco. We will make stops at some beautiful Kasbahs and Berber villages along the enchanting Draa Valley, on our way to lunch in Alnif. After lunch we will drive on to Merzouga, where we will stop along the great sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will make a visit to the black Gnoua people, before a two hours camel ride through the stunning Saharan dunes. We will sleep overnight under a berber tent amongst the amazing scenery of the dunes.

Day 3: Erg chebbi – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

After a spectacular sunrise and breakfast, we will ride the camels back to the Auberge l estoille des dunes where you will have time to take a shower and relax. We will then leave Merzouga to drive on to the amazing Todra Gorge. We will have lunch amongst the lush garden of the gorge, before driving on to the Dades Valley where we will spend the night in a hotel.

Day 4: Dades Gorges – Rose Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazatte – Marrakech

After breakfast at the hotel and departure at 9:00am, we will drive via the Thousand Kasbahs Route, The Valley of Roses, and make a visit to Skoura Oasis with it’s authentic 17 century Kasbah. We will then make a visit to Taourirt Kasbah (the former residence of the Glaoui), and have lunch in Ourzazatte. We will then start the 4 hours drive via the incredible Tizi Ntichka pass back to Marrakech.
