Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga

After breakfast, our journey to Merzouga begins as we travel through the scenic Middle Atlas region. First, we’ll pass through Ifrane, often referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco, before heading to the cedar forests of Azrou, where you can stop to hand-feed the playful monkeys. Next, we’ll continue to Midelt for a relaxing lunch break. From there, we’ll follow the Ziz River, winding through the valley, and make a stop to admire the breathtaking Ziz Gorges. Finally, we’ll arrive in Merzouga, ready for the next leg of our adventure.

Day 2: Merzouga – Khamlia – Rissani

Begin the day with a circuit of the desert dunes, where you’ll witness the nomads’ way of life and the stunning, ever-changing contrasts of the desert landscape. Next, we’ll visit the black village of Khamlia to experience the soulful rhythms of the Gnawa musicians. For lunch, enjoy a traditional Berber pizza in the historic capital of Rissani. As the afternoon unfolds, we’ll ride camels across the dunes to witness a breathtaking desert sunset. The evening brings us to a desert camp, where a delicious tagine dinner awaits. Sip on refreshing mint tea, listen to traditional Berber music, and gaze at the stars and rising moon under the magical skies of the Sahara Desert.

Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

Start the day early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes before heading back to the hotel for breakfast and a refreshing shower. From there, we’ll journey through the palm-lined valleys of Tourog and Tinjdad, eventually arriving at the stunning Todra Gorge. Take a leisurely walk through the gorge, soaking in its dramatic cliffs and natural beauty, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Later, we’ll continue our adventure to the Dades Gorge, where we’ll settle in for the night at our accommodation.

Day 4: Dades Gorge – El Kelaa Magona – Skoura – Ouarzazate.

After breakfast we will take a walk in the gorge and then take the off road track to see the nomad caves. We will continue via El Kelaa Magona, Valley of the Roses and the Skoura oasis to arrive to Ouarzazate.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech

After breakfast we will visit Taourirt Kasbah before departing to Ait Benhaddou to visit the World Heritage Site. We will continue with a visit to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui. We will have lunch in a local restaurant in Telouet before descending the Tizi-n-Tichka to Marrakech.

Day 6: Marrakech – Essaouira.

We will drive to Essaouira which is 170 Kms from Marrakech where you will get the chance to see goats climbing the Argan trees looking for better food they can’t find on the ground. as along the way it’s possible to visit the women’s co-operative of Argan oil before you get to Essaouira this town remains one of Morocco’s best-kept secrets. complete with a bustling historical centre and surrounded by ancient city walls…, it continues to be a traditional fishing port at its heart to this day. Back to Marrakech in the evening.

Day 7: Marrakech sightseeing

Discover the city of Marrakech in this enlightening full day tour. Immerse yourself into the history, art and culture of this magnificent walled pink city. Photograph the magnificent Koutoubia mosque with its great square tower and shining copper globes. Stroll along the bustling alleyways and see the mosques, traditional bakeries, old lodging houses and fountains carved of wood. Visit the Medrassa ben Yousef as one of the largest theological college in north Africa. Walk through the alleys of the Medina and visit the most interesting handicrafts quarters , see an enchanting display of arts and crafts in the colorful souks before you relive the atmosphere of a glorious age in the exquisite rooms..
